  Our stay at this property was TERRIBLE!!! When we got there to check in we were told that there was a small stain on the carpet that was being worked on, to which we had no issue. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE… one of the rooms had flooded with water from the AC, the smell was TERRIBLE and they had to put an industrial fan in said room to try and dry up the water to prevent damage, this also caused the room below to have water pouring into the bathroom making it unusable. Now these are thing that I understand can happen and are out of the company’s control, BUT the home in its totality being FILTHY is controllable. There were animal feces all over front yard. Inside there were dead bugs and it was visibly dirty, what appeared to be mold was growing in different paces. I have pictures and video. The fan was not removed from out room until Thursday when the week was over on Saturday… the pool was cleaned once before we got there but no one ever came back to clean it throughout the week even when we called. The Filter in the hot tub stopped working and again nothing was done to fix it. They had people coming over to check on things all the time to the point we had to park a car on the street and ended up with a ticket. The best part is that we told Stan White Reality all of this, and they did nothing, there was no refund of any kind their excuse being that they had responded to all the things that went wrong in what they considered a timely manner, for a vacation that last only a week it was very much affected and interrupted consistently. The house is not worth staying in and the customer service we received from Stan White left a lot to be desired. I don’t think I will ever stay at one of their properties again that is how turned off we were by this whole experience!

  I was very disappointed with Stan Whyte Realty in Duck N.C. We recently went on a family trip and the house we stayed in was next to another home under construction. We were woken up as early as 7:30 a.m. to the sounds of huge machinery. We called Stan Whyte Realty and indicated this was a problem plus the fact that all of the workers next door kept staring at all of the ladies in the pool. Stan Whyte sent over a property manager who managed to get the workers start at 7:45 rather than 7:30 as if that made a difference. After some schmoozing he left and never returned. The construction continued. The looks continues and so did the loose construction nails all over. Not to mention the saw-dust on our cheeseburgers. I once again called Stan Whyte to ask if there was another house we can be moved to. No returned call. Finally I called again only to hear “nothing could be done”. Stan Whyte offered us a $25 gift certificate to a local restaurant. Of course we declined. When you are paying close to $5,000 for a week in a house you don’t expect this. Stan Whyte should have been more professional, more accommodating and quicker to assist us. They should have at least offered us a discount that made a difference. A $25 gift certificate is a huge insult. With us, they lost other customers that have used them in the past. When booking the vacation they are sweet as pie but if you have any issues, you’re on your own! I would definitely recommend you go with a different Realtor.

  Awesome place, and their beach is really nice. Staying here is often the highlight of my summer, they have tennis courts that you can use and a pier where you can go out to catch blue crabs. It's also within walking distance of Duck Donuts, the major attraction of Duck.
